ESL 500 A Syllabus
Schedule until the end of the semester:
4/5 Thurs: plagiarism pt 2 & tone
4/10 Tues: TBA (essay analysis; workshop)
4/12 Thurs: how to give presentations
4/15 Sunday: first DRAFT of final paper due.
Get as much done as possible, but this IS NOT the final version. I will look at this version to give you feedback at conferences, so the more effort you put in the more effort I can put in.
4/17 Tues: peer review of final paper
4/19 Thurs: CONFERENCES: *Bring the peer-reviewed version of your paper to your conference. Make any changes you wish to beforehand.
4/24 Tues: presentations day 1
4/26 Thurs: presentations day 2
5/1 Tues: last day! finish up presentations and fill out feedback forms (we'll probably be out early!)
5/6 Sunday: final argumentative essay due. this is the last possible day I can accept final drafts of your argumentative essay. Please turn in by midnight.
